As a mother of two, a 200 hr trauma-informed yoga teacher and a registered nurse, I have spent years exploring the intricate connection between physical health and emotional and spiritual well-being. In my nursing career I witnessed the profound impact of stress and trauma on both my patients, myself, and other healthcare workers. It was through this lens that I discovered the indispensable value of pouring into yourself and giving yourself the gift of rest —rest for your body, mind, and soul.

The practice and philosophy of yoga, illuminated my path to understanding the significance of stillness. I learned that true healing transcends mere physical recovery; it encompasses the nurturing of our souls and the quieting of our minds.
